Missed connections, Missed connections

They say every road barred, is a redirection

I was applying in different directions

Internships, Jobs

Triumphs and sobs

More redirections, some no replies, some rejections

Then one day I got to the next stage

45 misdirected hours on a “design challenge” during week seven

Anticpation        And        then        the        “great”         redirection

All that time down the drain . . . . . . . .. . . .. . . .was there a lesson

Submission unopened, sadness, happiness, rage

Missed connections, Missed connections

They say every road barred is a redirection

Missed connections, Missed connections

New directions, new connections

I am happy, and now I know for a fact

They say if you zoom out far enough, every line is flat
